lbt: test laboratory

 
 

The MILL+ suite also has an LBT Framework  for managing the mechanical and spectrometry test laboratory at a steel mill, foundry, wire-drawing mill, pipe mill or similar plant. It can be used to develop solutions that control and manage interfaces with all the instrumentation and automatically acquire analyses on samples of raw materials, specimens from each heat or product samples taken straight from the production line and identified. The results are stored in the system and can be viewed from any PC station. The quality manager uses sophisticated instruments to analyse and compare process parameters and the results of tests on individual or groups of heats, and decide how to optimise the process further and produce at increasingly competitive costs.
